If you neglected to get rid of your old £1 coins before the deadline day, don’t worry.

The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal has a special dispensation to collect the coins. Just give your old pound coins to any Poppy Appeal collector and their value will add to the money available to assist ex-Servicemen and their families.
