The object of the event is to raise money for TEAR fund. This charity works with those in need in many countries. The coffee morning on Friday, November 10, hosted by the History Society was well attended and St John the Baptist church held the Remembranc­e service on Sunday, November 12 at 10.15am. Fund raising: The Village Hall Trust invite you to join the Race Night to be held at the hall on Saturday, November 25, at 7.30pm for first race at 8pm. There will be eight races on the night, admission £2 per person. Cash bar, bring your own food. All welcome, proceeds to hall improvemen­ts.
