FRIDAY, MAY 12, 2017

A property in Quarry Road is sealed off for evidence searches and police arrested two boys, aged 14 and 15, on suspicion of murder. Detectives search a field in Woolage Green, near Aylesham in connection with the case.

TUESDAY, MAY 16, 2017

Macdonald and Buckley are charged with Razvan Sirbu’s murder and appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court. The two boys, 14 and 15, are released on bail pending further inquiries and Charlie White is arrested shortly after 12am.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 17, 2017

White becomes the third man to be charged with Razvan Sirbu’s murder.

Tributes to Mr Sirbu at the murder scene are found trashed.

White and Macdonald appear at Maidstone Crown Court to deny murdering Razvan Sirbu. Buckley, upon the request of his lawyer, does not enter a plea.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 12, 2018

Macdonald and White are both convicted by a jury of murdering Razvan Sirbu. Jimmy Buckley was also deemed to have carried out the act. Mr Sirbu’s mum speaks to the press.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 16, 2018

Macdonald and White are given life sentences by a judge. Macdonald must serve 18 years before he is considered for release while White must serve 16 years. The judge also asks for a psychiatric report for Jimmy Buckley.
