A woman wants to help local business owners after setting up a virtual personal assistant service.
Emily O’Neil, at 8 Donemowe Drive, Kemsley, launched her new business with Pink Spaghetti, a franchise company offering businesses, consultants, traders, and home owners pay-as-you-go PA support.
The 33-year-old, now trading under Pink Spaghetti Maidstone and Sittingbourne, has had years of experience working in secretarial, admin, and high-level PA roles having started after leaving school but wanted to work for herself.
“What I love about being a PA is that everyday is different”, she said.
“But to be able to use those skills for local businesses is what inspired me to branch out in this way.”
Mrs O’Neil grew up on the Isle of Sheppey, and wants to help businesses in her community flourish by offering her skills on a non-committal basis and online.
She says this can often suit owners who may not have the funds for a full time PA or the space to have one in house.
She said: “I’m excited to think I can help small businesses to grow within the area I grew up in and live.
“I try to use local independent businesses. It’s vital to try and look our for them because they are the life blood of our towns.”
