Cafe customers are lapping it up
Dog-lovers of all ages flocked to Allington last week for the grand opening of a new pooch-friendly cafe.
Baskerville’s Coffee Shop is the first business of its kind to open its doors in the area and welcomed a number of families with their four-legged friends in tow.
Customers as young as eight-month-old Kensie Peto appeared to be enjoying the service on offer at the cafe in Appledore Court, Hildenborough Crescent, which used to be known as Grinds Coffee House.
The premises were bought by Celeste Baskerville in December and refurbished before opening to great fanfare on Friday.
Mrs Baskerville, 45, from Penenden Heath, said the idea of running such a business has been a dream of hers for more than two decades.
As well as coffee, it will offer cakes, soups and home-made chilli dishes, with free Wi-fi.
