Breakfast will help hospice
The Mall shopping centre in Maidstone has selected the Heart Of Kent Hospice as its charity of the year, especially focusing on its dementia services. As a first event, the Mall is inviting shoppers to enjoy a hearty breakfast outside Greggs in the centre. Greggs staff are all trained in dementia awareness. Visit between 9am and 11am on Saturday. The hospice helps 1,300 people a year and costs £4m to run, most of which comes from donations.
