Why isn’t Barming’s sinkhole fixed yet?
I was wondering if someone from the council could explain to the people of Maidstone why the sinkhole on the Tonbridge Road still hasn’t been repaired? I understand these things take time, and they have to make sure everything is safe and that it never happens again but, this doesn’t explain why every time I drive past, there is never anyone even working on it! It’s now coming up seven weeks since the road collapsed. Are they only working part time hours? The digger looks as if it hasn’t moved from one day to the next, and I’ve heard others say no one has been working there. Surely this should be a priority being on such a main route? So can someone from the council explain all of this to us?
