Charley Nash claimed a five-fer as St Lawrence & Highland Court beat Broadstair­s by two wickets. Invited to bat, Broadstair­s were bowled out for 135 after a top score of 53 from Jamie Dewell and eight single-digit knocks. Nash finished with figures of 5-15 while Toby Vaughan took 2-7.

St Lawrence slipped to 3-3 in reply as Bradley Ellison worked his way towards 3-21.

Will Hilton then led the recovery with 33 along with Jamie Vant-Harrison’s 28 and Vaughan’s 25 as St Lawrence reached 136-8.

Dewell (4-29) was Broadstair­s’ best contributo­r with the ball, followed closely by Ellison’s haul.

A half-century from Shaheer Malik helped Folkestone to a 19-run victory over Upchurch. Having been put in to bat, Folkestone were boosted by a 54-run second-wicket partnershi­p between Stuart Graham (40) and Malik (60).

Leon Morgan added an unbeaten 39 as the visitors made 212-7, Adeel Hussain and Aaron Walker picking up two wickets each.

Upchurch were bowled out for 193 in reply after a top score of 30 from Phillip Apps.

Jarred Lysaught, Nick Ward, Stuart Graham and Ken Gainsford all picked up two wickets apiece for Folkestone. Holmesdale won by 30 runs on their trip to Linden Park.

After choosing to bat, the visitors were dismissed for 161 following a leading score of 34 from skipper Luke Blackaby. Their efforts had been thwarted by impressive bowling displays from Tom Gibson (4-35) and James Speer (4-23).

Openers Jayden Hoare (25) and Speer (27) started steadily It’s three wins on the spin now for Dartford in Division 2.

They beat another of the division’s promotion chasers on Saturday, following up last week’s win over Ashford with victory against The Mote. Runs from Malinda Thotiwilag­e proved crucial as they chased down 145-5 at Hesketh Park. Thotiwilag­e (84 not out) was joined by Thomas Glass-Burgess (41) in a 100-run first-wicket stand, as Dartford set about completing the chase.

The Mote had lost opener Richard Coles to a third-ball duck but fellow opener Matthew White scored half of their runs, unbeaten on 73. Matthew Luksich added 31 before becoming one of Max Luckett’s (3-15) victims.

Ashford Town bounced back from their defeat to Dartford with a comfortabl­e win at bottom side Whitstable.

Whitstable have lost all 11 games and were bowled out for 51 on Saturday. Opener Harrison Legge hit 25 of those runs.

Jarrod Casey returned figures of 4-29 for Ashford.

It took Liam Tegg (37 not out) and Andy Allon (17) less than six overs to knock the runs off. in reply before wicketkeep­er Graeme Francis chipped in with 21. Callum Gallagher eventually finished with 4-25 from his six overs as Linden fell short on 131-8.

Bromley Common won by four wickets at home to Tenterden. Put in to bat, Tenterden were led by opener Tom Richards’ 50 from 48 deliveries.

Gabriel Gad provided 41 among eight single-digit scores as Tenterden were bowled out for 125. Conteh Nixon took 4-15 while Sam Clarkson picked up 3-26. Common had Toby Finzel (46) and Oliver Hickford (34 not out) to thank as they chased down a winning score of 126-6 in 24.2 overs.

Hayes lost by four wickets in their meeting with Bromley after failing to defend 215 all out. Sent in to bat, Hayes fell to 5-2 when Grant Sheen and Liam Buttery both went for ducks. Hayes responded well through a 90-run partnershi­p between Aaron Yabsley (55) and James Bamber (36), until the latter was run out by Miguel Barbosa. Amjad Khan then struck with 4-44 while Stuart Eddicott (32) and Mark Trevatt (25) helped Hayes to a respectabl­e score. However, half-centuries from Yasir Arafat (61), Freddie Wilson (52 not out) and Amjad Khan (52) ensured Bromley reached 219-6.
