A brilliant century from Barney

Scott helped Cowdrey to a hugely impressive win at Leeds & Broomfield.

Scott, opening the batting, hit 20 fours and three sixes on his way to 125 off 107 balls and that laid the foundation for a big Cowdrey score. They closed their 50 overs on 311-9 with Minhaj Jalill racing to 45 off 28 deliveries as the Leeds bowlers were made to toil.

Several Leeds players got starts, Max Aitken top scoring with 27, but none went on to score big for the home side, who came up well short at 143 all out in reply.

Ralph Yeats-Brown was the pick of the Cowdrey bowlers, claiming 4-14 from his 10 overs.

Gravesend made 276 all out at the Bat & Ball Ground and then bowled Tonbridge out for 178.
