Regan Corke’s late double saw K Sports upset Premier Division title hopefuls Chatham on Monday night. The Paperboys took a sixthminute lead through James Alderman but goals from Jon Pilbeam and Jack Evans put Chats in front at the break. The visitors looked set for victory but Corke levelled on 77 minutes and scored the winner with two minutes left. It was a fourth league win in five games for K Sports and they also advanced in the Kent Senior Trophy last Saturday after first-half goals from Matt Gething and Josh Brown secured a 2-0 win over Tunbridge Wells. Bearsted are also through to the second round after coming from 2-1 down at halftime to beat Rusthall 5-2. James Bessey-Saldanha scored twice, with Nodirbek Bobomurodov, Josh Beadle and David Baranowski also on target.

Bears followed up with a

4-1 defeat at Sheppey on Tuesday night, despite Emmanuel Oluwasemo’s firstminute opener.

Snodland boss Simon Copley resigned after Snodland lost 7-0 at Sheppey in the Kent Senior Trophy.

Coaches Ian Varley and Steve Northwood also left the club following the defeat, which was Town’s third on the spin. Reserve-team boss Aaron McCall is Town’s new manager, with assistant Ashley Stone also stepping up. Snodland sit ninth in Division 1 with three wins from 10 matches.

Snodland chairman Dave

Jeal said: “It is a real shame Simon and the guys have decided to resign but we must move on quickly. Aaron and Ashley have impressed in their short time at the club and fully deserve the opportunity.”

McCall starts his reign at Greenways this Saturday, while Bearsted host Erith & Belvedere and K Sports go to Punjab.
