Boris bounce working

-

Within hours of Boris’s landslide victory I had sold three houses out of the blue by 2pm on Friday, December 13. The pound shot up and against the Euro and house prices will benefit if Blue Friday is anything to go by. My focus now will be on retirement villages in Maidstone borough and in Tonbridge and Malling Borough.

Boris is very good business for Britain and the housing and rental market.

The delivery of new housing will have to be a priority for his Government

There is a need to provide housing for everyone including those of retirement age.

We are an ageing population.

What I hope to negotiate is a trading package of a 40% discount for those of retirement age scaling down in size to provide an existing family home for the younger generation.

When the retirement bungalow is finally resold to the second purchaser the 40% overhang would be paid at that point. There is a blank sheet of paper for the council to design the layout and include whatever facilities they believe is required. This is the nuts and bolts of it and will include doctor’s satellite surgery, shop, post office, gym, solar panels, and whatever else planners believe to be necessary. Santa Boris has got it right as far as the population of Britain is concerned.

He now has to get housing for the young and the old sorted in a very short time scale.

I find this an exciting time for housing. I am only sorry I am now 71 years old.
