The global superstar, whose career has spanned more than five decades, is set to play at the Hop Farm family park in Paddock Wood, on Sunday, July 5. With more than 100 million record sales under his belt, hits including It’s Not Unusual, Kiss, Delilah and What’s New Pussycat remain firm favourites with his fans.

Sir Tom received a knighthood from Her Majesty the Queen in 2006, and he has won a string of prestigious music awards, including BRIT Awards for Best Male and Outstanding Contribution to Music, a Silver Clef Award for Lifetime Achievement, the Hitmaker Award from the [US] Songwriters Hall of Fame and GQ Man Of The Year. The gig at the Hop Farm, which was once the home of the Hop Farm Festival until 2014, with stars performing including Bob Dylan and Prince, will feature a collection of Sir Tom’s most popular hits, including his latest albums.

Liz Doogan-Hobbs MBE, chief executive of promoter LHG Events, said: “We are of course thrilled to be working with Sir Tom Jones once again, having promoted and produced concerts with him across the country for several years.

“Tom remains one of the most popular artists in the industry and we have seen first-hand how he truly captivates an audience. “Fans in Kent are in for a treat with an evening filled with Tom’s most recognisable and popular hits.”

Miguel Fenton, head of sales, marketing and PR at the Hop Farm, said: “The Hop Farm is delighted to host this very special concert of a true music legend whose appeal is multi-generational. Over the years, The Hop Farm has brought music superstar performances to the county of Kent, including The Eagles, Prince, Bob Dylan and Elton John.

“Tom Jones is the latest to join the hall of fame and we can’t wait for this fabulous concert.”
