Selfish minority are breaking the lockdown rules

-

We live in London and have seen from our windows the amount of people flouting the rules.

Some of those are only now starting to do what was asked of them due to the fines.

My husband still goes to work as he is a key worker, he goes to work with gloves, masks and hand sanitiser, which he uses when there’s no washing facilities available and when he gets in his car to come home. He does the shopping on his way home from work so I can stay home and indoors.

We have all our families in Kent and as much as we would love to come down there and visit them all, we love and care more about them and their safety and that of everyone else to not put anyone at risk by coming down there! My husband did one trip down there after work to drop some supplies to family. He took them down there and put them outside the door and went up the path and sat there with a cup of coffee before driving back home.

I don’t get why these people flouting the rules don’t care enough about themselves, their families and everyone else to just do what is asked of them. If everyone followed the rules from the beginning then there wouldn’t be so many deaths.

the service in ordinary clothes especially as there were probably very few attendees.

The main point of the story is that Covid-19 is affecting even the minutiae of life and reinforcing the need to change ones habits (pun intended).

When we give thanks, let us include all religions ministers who give comfort and support, often to those presenting the greatest risk.
