FA announce draw details
Details of the 2020/21 FA competitions have been announced. TheFACup,FATrophyand FA Vase will all kick off their early stages in September. Corinthian are still hoping to earn a place at Wembley after reaching the FA Vase semi-final for 2019/20 and the FA say they are still “currently exploring options with the relevant parties as we are still seeing to complete the competitions, providing it is feasible to do so.”

Town was due to be played over two legs in March but remains postponed.
The extra preliminary round of the FA Cup is due to be played on Tuesday, September 1 with subsequent rounds on September 12 (preliminary), September 22 (first round qualifying), October 3 (second round qualifying), October 13
(third round qualifying) and October 24 (fourth round qualifying).
The dates from the first round proper onwards have yet to be confirmed. The draw will be released on August 18.
Prize money in the FA Cup has been halved. Extra preliminary winners last season received £2,250 for a win and £750 for a defeat. That’s down to £1,125 and £375. The 50% deduction continues throughout the rounds, returning to 2017/18 levels.
Teams who won through to the first round proper banked £18,750 last season but that is down to £9,375. TherewillbenoFACup replays in the qualifying rounds to help with fixture congestion.
The FA Vase gets under way with the first qualifying round on Saturday, September 19 and second qualifying round on Saturday, October 10.
The dates for the proper rounds are as follows: First round (October 31), second round (November 28), third round (December 19), fourth round (January 9), fifth round (February 6), quarterfinals (February 27), semifinals (March 27) and the final on May 8, 2021.
Dates for the FA Trophy have also been announced, starting on Saturday, September 26 with the first qualifying round.
Second qualifying round (October 17), third qualifying round (October 31), first round (November 14), second round (December 5), third round (December 19), fourth round (January 16), fifth round (February 6), quarterfinal (February 27), semifinals (March 27), and the final on May 8.
