Easy to criticise with hindsight

-

What a great letters page last week; some good points well made, with Colin Bullen taking centre stage.

I do think the wider media could focus on the current situation.

We are in a pandemic, those with the benefit of hindsight constantly criticise when it’s far more important to follow the rules, get vaccinated when invited and carry on as best we can.

There is no point whatever in whinging or crying ‘should have done this’.

A children’s charity is trying to break a Guinness world record - and it needs your help.

Tree of Hope, which is based in Tonbridge but helps families across the country fund specialist child medical care, is urging people to get involved in creating a record-breaking 50,000 portraits, made from household items and scraps.

The Creative Face Guinness World Record Attempt is being run in conjunction with The Creation Station, a company which provides arts and crafts events for children.

An online workshop, costing £5, will be held on Friday, April 9, on how to create these portraits. It will be hosted by Alix Purton, who runs the Creation Station workshop in Sevenoaks. Tree of Hope chief executive Gill Gibb said: “This is a really fun workshop which anyone of any age can take part in.” There is no time limit on completing the challenge.
