To allow drainage cleansing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Eastwood Road, Ulcombe, on or after 6th May 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside Wesley Cottage to
outside Eastwood Farmhouse, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Eastwood Road, Lenham Road, Headcorn Road, Liverton Hill, Green Hill Lane,
Ulcombe Hill, The Street, Pye Corner and vice versa.
GRAVELLY BOTTOM ROAD, KINGSWOOD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2022
To allow drainage maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Gravelly Bottom Road, Kingswood, on or after 5th May 2022 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with Ulcombe Road to outside Uplands, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Gravelly Bottom Road, Chartway Street, Pitt Road and vice versa.
KINGS STREET, MAIDSTONE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2022
To allow investigation works to be carried out Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting
through traffic on part of King Street, Maidstone, on or after 4th May 2022 for up to 1 night between the hours of 22:30 and 05:00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions with Queen Anne Road and Albion Place, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for traffic travelling west is via Albion Place, Brooks Place, Queen Anne Road, Marsham Street, Church Street.

OLD LOOSE HILL, LOOSE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022
To allow excavation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Old Loose Hill, Loose, on or after 19th April 2022 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Scriba House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Old Loose Hill, A229 Linton Road and vice versa.
RUMSTEAD LANE, STOCKBURY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022
To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out,

To allow gas main replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part various roads in Loose and Tovil, Maidstone from 25th April 2022. The works will be carried out in phases, as detailed below.

Hayle Mill Road will be closed from 30th May 2022, with estimated completion by 18th July 2022.

Cave Hill will be closed from 30th May 2022, with estimated completion 11th July 2022.

The works will be carried out in phases, as detailed below.
Monckton Avenue, Maidstone
Monckton Avenue will be closed from 18th April 2022, with an estimated completion date of 30th May 2022. The road will be closed from outside number 1 to outside number 90, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for this closure, due to the road being a dead-end. However, residential access will be maintained at all times, when it is safe to do so. Calder Road, Maidstone
Calder Road will be closed in two phases from 16th May
2022, with an estimated completion date of 25th July 2022.
Phase 1 - Calder Road will be closed from 16th May 2022, with an estimated completion date of 3rd June 2022.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Chatham Road and Lushington Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Chatham Road, Dickens Road and Lushington Road.
Phase 2 - Calder Road will be closed from 16th May 2022, with an estimated completion date of 25th July 2022.
The road will be closed in the general vicinity of number 84, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Egerton Road.
Lushington Road, Maidstone
Lushington Road, Maidstone will be closed from 30th May 2022, with an estimated completion date of 13th June 2022. Lushington Road will not be closed at the same time as Calder Road.

CRANMER ROAD & ST MARYS DRIVE, RIVERHEAD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of SGN works, Kent County Council intends to
make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Cranmer Road and St Marys Drive, Riverhead for their entire lengths.
Cranmer Road is planned from 2nd May 2022 to 23rd May 2022 and St Marys Drive is planned from 27th June 2022 to 19th July 2022.
There are no alternative routes but access will be given as and when safe to do so.
