Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

EARL STREET, MAIDSTONE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022

To allow works to be carried out to install a new gas service, Kent County Council intends to make an Order

prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Earl Street, Maidstone, on or after 13th June 2022 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from outside number 31 to

outside number 33, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternativ­e route for this closure. However, access will be maintained at all times, when it is safe to do so.

EYHORNE STREET, HOLLINGBOU­RNE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022

To allow a street party to be held in celebratio­n of

Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Eyhorne Street, Hollingbou­rne, on or after 5th June 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 11:00 and 18:00, or until the event has finished.

The road will be closed between The Windmill Pub and The Sugar Loaves Pub, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Eyhorne Street, Greenway Court Road, A20 Ashford Road and vice versa.

FARLEIGH BRIDGE, EAST FARLEIGH (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022

To allow frame and cover replacemen­t works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Farleigh Bridge, East Farleigh, on or after 18th June 2022 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Victory Inn, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Farleigh Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, B2163 Teston Lane, Lower Road,

Station Hill and vice versa.

HART STREET, MAIDSTONE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022

To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Hart Street, Maidstone, on or after 15th June 2022 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Barker Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The one-way Order on Hart Street will be temporaril­y suspended, to allow for the diverted traffic.

The alternativ­e route is via Hart Street, Barker Road and

vice versa.

HUNT STREET, WEST FARLEIGH (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2022

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Hunt Street, West Farleigh, on or after 31st May 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Marshalls Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Hunt Street, Smiths Hill, Yalding Hill, Kenward Road and vice versa.

LUGHORSE LANE, HUNTON (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022

To allow replacemen­t works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Lughorse Lane, Hunton, on or after 14th June 2022 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of number 1 Pennyfield Cottage, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Lughorse Lane, Yalding Hill, Vicarage Road, West Street and vice versa.

LOWER ROAD, WEST FARLEIGH (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022

To allow gully replacemen­t works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Lower Road, West Farleigh, on or after 13th June 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junction with Teston Road and The Old Parsonage, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via B2163 Lower Road, Dean Street, Heath Road, Ewell Lane and vice versa.

OLD ASHFORD ROAD, LENHAM (TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022

To allow electrical connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to impose a temporary mandatory 30 mph speed limit on Old Ashford Road, Lenham, on or after 16th June

2022 for up to 14 days or until the works have been completed.

The 30 mph speed limit will be imposed at the junction with Groom Way, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

PAGEHURST ROAD, STAPLEHURS­T (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022

To allow reinstatem­ent works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Pagehurst Road, Staplehurs­t, on or after 13th June 2022 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Great Pagehurst Place, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Pagehurst Road, Park Road,

Marden Road and vice versa.

PERRYFIELD STREET, MAIDSTONE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022

To allow section 278 works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Perryfield Street, Maidstone, on or after 13th June 2022 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Albert Street and Sandling Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Scott Street, Hope Street,

Sandling Road and vice versa.

SHEEPHURST LANE, MARDEN (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2022

To allow water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through

traffic on part of Sheephurst Lane, Marden, on or after 31st May 2022 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Beech Barn, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Sheephurst Lane, Claygate,

THE STREET, BOXLEY (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2022

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of The Street, Boxley, on or after 30th May 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Pilgrims Way and Styles Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route for any through traffic is via

Pilgrims Way, Lidsing Road, Westfield Sole Road, A2045 Walderslad­e Woods, Taddington Roundabout, A229, Lord Lees Roundabout, A229 Blue Bell Hill, Cobtree Roundabout, Chatham Road, The Running Horse Roundabout, Sandling Lane, Boxley Road, The Street

and vice versa.

VICARAGE LANE, EAST FARLEIGH (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2022

To allow sewer connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through

traffic on part of Vicarage Lane, East Farleigh, on or after 28th May 2022 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Rathlyn, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Wilsons Lane, Gallants Lane, Lower Road, The Green, Vicarage Lane and vice versa.

WHEELER STREET, MAIDSTONE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022

To allow pole replacemen­t works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Wheeler Street, Maidstone, on or after 9th June 2022 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from outside number 72 to

outside number 78, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Lucerne Street, Hedley Street, B2012 Holland Road, Wheeler Street and vice

versa.

YORK ROAD, MAIDSTONE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022

To allow works to be carried out on equipment, Kent

County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g

through traffic on part of York Road, Maidstone, on 13th June 2022 and 15th June 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with South Park Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via York Road, West Park Road, South Park Road and vice versa.

SEVENOAKS AREA B2026 QUEBEC SQUARE/HOSEY HILL, WESTERHAM (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of B2026 Quebec Square/Hosey Hill, Westerham, on or after 1st June 2022 for up to 2 days between 10.00hrs and 14.00hrs or until the works have

been completed.

The road will be closed between A25 Westerham Road and French Street.

The alternativ­e route is via B2026 Hosey Hill/Hosey Common Road, B269 Kent Hatch Road, A25 Westerham Road/High Street/Market Square/Vicarage Hill and vice versa.

BILLET HILL, ASH. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Billet Hill, Ash, on or after 1st June 2022 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside St Annes.

The alternativ­e route is via Billet Hill, Ash Road, Chapel Wood Road, Hartley Road, B260 Main Road, Fawkham

HEVER LANE, HEVER. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of carriagewa­y patching, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Hever Lane, Hever, on or after 13th June 2022 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Park Farm and Fell House.

The alternativ­e route is via Chippens Lane, Uckfield Lane, Cowden Pound Road, B2026 Stick Hill and vice

versa.

HODSOLL STREET, HODSOLL STREET. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Hodsoll Street, Hodsoll Street, on or after 14th June 2022 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Park View.

The alternativ­e route is via Hodsoll Street, Rosemary Lane, Chapmans Hill, Bunkers Hill Road, Ridley Hill, Pease Hill, Haven Hill and vice versa.

LULLINGSTO­NE LANE, EYNSFORD. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Lullingsto­ne Lane, Eynsford, on or after 13th June 2022 for up to 1 day between 05.00hrs and 11.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation and Lullingsto­ne Roman Villa.

There is no alternativ­e route but access will be

maintained when safe to do so.

MANOR LANE, HARTLEY. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of installati­on of a new electricit­y supply,

Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y

prohibit through traffic on part of Manor Lane, Hartley, on or after 26th May 2022 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Fairfields.

There is no alternativ­e route but access will be

maintained as and when safe to do so.

MAPLETON ROAD, FOUR ELMS. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Mapleton Road, Four Elms, on or after 31st May 2022 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed. The road will be closed outside Oak Lodge.

The alternativ­e route is via Mapleton Road, B2026 Hosey Common Road/Main Road, B269 Spout Lane/

Pootings Road and vice versa.

POUNDSBRID­GE LANE, PENSHURST. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Poundsbrid­ge Lane, Penshurst, on or after 13th June 2022 for up to 11 days between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
