To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Wouldham Road, Wouldham, on or after 15th June 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed , to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Rochester Road, High Street, School Lane, Pilgrims Way, Burham Road, Wouldham Road and vice versa.
VARIOUS ROADS, TONBRIDGE & MALLING (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022
To allow carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on various roads in Tonbridge and Malling, as detailed below.
A227 Bates Hill & A227 Tonbridge Road, Ightham
A227 Bates Hill & A227 Tonbridge Road will be closed from 17th June 2022, between the hours of 20:00 and
06:00, with estimated completed by 29th June 2022. The roads will be closed between the junctions with Back Lane and Fen Pond Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via A25 Borough Green Road, A25 Sevenoaks Road, A227 Western Road, A227 Wrotham Road, A227 Borough Green Road, A227 Wrotham Bypass, A20 London Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 Hadlow Road East, A26 Hadlow Road, Yardley Park Road, A227 Shipbourne Road, A227 Tonbridge Road and vice versa.
The alternative route for overheight vehicles is via

228 Leybourne Bypass, Leybourne
A228 Leybourne Bypass will be closed from 14th July 2022, between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 only, with estimated completion by 30th July 2022.
The road will be closed between the junctions with M20 J5 interchange and A20/A228 Ashton Way link road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via A20 London Road, M20 J5, M20 J5 to J4, M20 J4 and vice versa.
The alternative route for traffic unsuitable for the motorway is via A20 London Road, New Hythe Lane, Leybourne Way, A228 Castle Way and vice versa.
The alternative route for localised traffic for Birling is via A228 Castle Way, A228 Malling Road, Malling Road, Hollow Lane, Snodland Road, Bull Road and vice versa.
Additional, localised diversions may be in place to guide traffic where necessary.
A228 Ashton Way, West Malling
A228 Ashton Way will be closed from 19th July 2022 for
up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30.
The road will be closed between the junctions with Bull Road Roundabout and Tower View Roundabout, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The 7.5 tonne weight restriction on Hermitage Lane will be temporarily suspended, to allow for diverted traffic. The alternative route for traffic travelling to and from M20 J4, Snodland/Rochester is via A228 Leybourne Bypass, M20 J4, M20 J4 to J5, M20 J5, A20 London Road, B2246 Hermitage Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A228 Malling Road, A228 Ashton Way and vice versa.
The alertnative route for traffic unsuitable for motorway is via A228 Leybourne Bypass, A228 Castle Way, Leybourne Way, A20 London Road, B2246 Hermitage Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A228 Malling Road, A228 Ashton Way and vice versa.
The alternative route for traffic heading to and from
A20 Leybourne/West Malling is via A20 London Road, B2246 Hermitage Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A228 Malling Road, A228 Ashton Way and vice versa.
The alternative route for traffic travelling to West
Malling train station to and from Kings Hill vicinity is via King Hill, St Leonards Street, High Street, Swan Street, Lucks Hill, Station Approach and vice versa.
The alternative route for traffic travelling to West Malling train station to and from A20 Leybourne vicinity is via A20 London Road, Winterfield Lane, Lucks Hill, Station Approach and vice versa.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA A229 HIGHGATE HILL, HAWKHURST (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A229 Highgate Hill, Hawkhurst, on or after 19th June 2022 for up to 1 day between 09.00hrs and 13.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with A268 High Street.
The alternative route is via A268 High Street/Hawkhurst Road, A21 London Road, A229 Merriments Lane/Horns
Hill/Horns Road and vice versa.

Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Calverley Street, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 3rd July 2022 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed. The One-Way Order on Grover Street will be suspended to allow the diversion route.
The road will be closed outside number 14.
