To allow undergroun­d structure works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g

through traffic on part of Preston Street, Faversham, on or after 21st June 2022 for up to 1 night between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Stone Street, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternativ­e route for this closure. However Gatemen will be on site, at both closure points (East Street junction Newton Road and Court street junction

Crescent Road), to allow safe access.

THE STREET, LYNSTED (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022

To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through

traffic on part of The Street, Lynsted, on or after 22nd June 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction with Ludgate Lane for 310 metres south, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via The Street, Lynsted Lane, A2 London Road, Faversham Road, Doddington Lane,

Chequers Hill, Christophe­rs Row and vice versa.

A26 TONBRIDGE ROAD, WATERINGBU­RY

(PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2022

To allow footway and pedestrian crossing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of A26 Tonbridge Road, Wateringbu­ry, on or after 24th June 2022 for up to 4 weeks between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Mereworth Roundabout and Canon Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

CHIDLEY CROSS ROAD, EAST PECKHAM (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2022

To allow tree cutting and vegetation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Chidley Cross Road, East Peckham, on or after 6th July 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 16:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from outside Walnut Cott to outside number 43, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Hatches Lane, Addlestead Road, Snoll Hatch Road, Old Road, Hale Street, Church Lane, Pound Road, Chidley Cross Road and vice versa.

To allow gas service works and crossover works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of High House Lane, Hadlow, on or after 4th July 2022 for up to 15 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of The Anchor, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow works to be carried out to install a new gas service, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Ismays Road, Ivy Hatch, on or after 20th June 2022 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of number 1 New Cottages, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow vegetation maintenanc­e works to be

carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Pine Tree Lane, Ivy Hatch, on or after 22nd June 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 16:00, or until the works have been completed.

A227 Bates Hill & A227 Tonbridge Road will be closed from 17th June 2022, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00, with estimated completed by 29th June 2022. The roads will be closed between the junctions with Back Lane and Fen Pond Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

228 Leybourne Bypass, Leybourne

A228 Leybourne Bypass will be closed from 14th July

2022, between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 only, with estimated completion by 30th July 2022.

The road will be closed between the junctions with M20 J5 interchang­e and A20/A228 Ashton Way link road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via A20 London Road, M20 J5, M20 J5 to J4, M20 J4 and vice versa.

The alternativ­e route for traffic unsuitable for the motorway is via A20 London Road, New Hythe Lane, Leybourne Way, A228 Castle Way and vice versa.

The alternativ­e route for localised traffic for Birling is via A228 Castle Way, A228 Malling Road, Malling Road, Hollow Lane, Snodland Road, Bull Road and vice versa.

Additional, localised diversions may be in place to guide traffic where necessary.

A228 Ashton Way, West Malling

A228 Ashton Way will be closed from 19th July 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Bull Road Roundabout and Tower View Roundabout, to the

extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The 7.5 tonne weight restrictio­n on Hermitage Lane will

be temporaril­y suspended, to allow for diverted traffic.

Because of drainage repair works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Lower Haysden Lane, Bidborough and Tonbridge, on or after 4th July 2022 for

up to 1 day between 08.00hrs and 16.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
