MUSIC EVENTS, THE SPITFIRE GROUND, CANTERBURY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & WAITING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2022
For the safety of the public during the staging of music events at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of B2068 St Lawrence Road, B2068 Nackington Road, and Old Dover Road, Canterbury.

The following roads will be closed to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site, from 21:00 hours to approximately 23:30 hours on both nights. B2068 ST LAWRENCE ROAD – closed for its entire length, with personnel on site to allow managed access from the A2050 New Dover Road direction for taxis, buses and vehicles picking up passengers from the concert
B2068 NACKINGTON ROAD, CANTERBURY – fully closed between the junctions of Merton Lane and Old Dover Road
OLD DOVER ROAD, CANTERBURY – Closed in both directions between the junctions of Ethelbert Road
and A2050 New Dover Road, with alternative routes via A2050 New Dover Road, Upper Chantry Lane and Oaten Hill.
Local diversions will be signposted on site.
These road closures do not apply to taxis, buses on stage carriage and park & ride services, and vehicles involved in the organisation and running of the event. Operatives will be on site at all times to allow access for residents and their visitors into locations where there are road closures.

Waiting will be prohibited at all times on the following roads, as clearly indicated by No Waiting signs and cones on site.

This Order suspends any existing parking entitlements and restrictions that currently apply to the sections of roads identified above.
NUNNERY FIELDS, CANTERBURY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER AUGUST 2022
To allow link box installation works to be carried out Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Nunnery Fields, Canterbury, on or after 1st August 2022 for up to 5 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Caledon Road and Lansdown Road (Northbound), to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. Southbound traffic will be unaffected.
The alternative route for any Northbound traffic is via Nunnery Fields, South Canterbury Road, Ethelbert Road

To allow utility works to be carried out Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Snowdown Road, Womenswold, on or after 20th July 2022 for up to 3 days, between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approximately 438 metres from the junction of Aylesham Road to approximately 467 metres from the junction of Nethersole Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic under
7.5 Tons is via B2046 Adisham Road, Spinney Lane, Aylesham Road, Sandwich Road, Snowdown Road and vice versa.

THE STREET, PATRIXBOURNE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER AUGUST 2022
To allow utility works to be carried out Kent County
Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of The Street, Patrixbourne, on or after 2nd August 2022 for up to 3 days between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Elephant Cottage, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

VARIOUS ROADS, BARHAM (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, SUSPEND WEIGHT LIMIT & SUSPEND ONEWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2022
To allow fibre equipment installation works to be carried out Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Brickfield Road and part of Gravel Castle Road, Barham, on or after 19th July
2022 for up to 8 days, between 08:30 hours and 18:00 hours, or until the works have been completed.
The weight restriction on Church Lane and The Street will be suspended.
The one-way traffic Order for Gravel Castle Road will be suspended to allow for access for residents and deliveries.
Road closures and diversions:
Brickfield Road will be closed for the entire length. Gravel Castle Road will be closed between the junctions of Church Lane and Brickfield Road, to the actual extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
For the road closure at Brickfield Road the alternative routes are detailed below:
• Westbound traffic is via Rabbit Hole, Church Lane,

DARTFORD AREA A296 PRINCES ROAD, DARTFORD. (30MPH SPEED LIMIT) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of the widening of the footway, Kent County
Council has made an Order for a temporary mandatory speed limit of 30 miles per hour to be imposed on part of A296 Princes Road, Dartford, between Junction 1B to the access into Ancaster Car Showroom, number 555, on or after 11th July 2022 for up to 6 weeks or until the works have been completed.
A2260 SOUTHFLEET ROAD & A2 NURSERY SLIP WESTBOUND OFF, SWANSCOMBE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & 30 MPH SPEED REDUCTION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic part of the A2260 Southfleet Road, Swanscombe, in 3 phases.
In conjunction with these works an Order has been made to temporarily impose a mandatory 30 MPH speed limit on part of the A2260 Southfleet Road and the A2 Nursery Slip Westbound Off. The speed reduction is planned from the 21st July 2022, with estimated completion by 29th August 2022.
The speed reduction will be imposed between the junction of the Ebbsfleet International Roundabout to the end point of the A2 Nursery Slip Westbound Off, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The 3 phases of the road closures are detailed below: Phase 1 - A closure is planned from 23rd July 2022, with estimated completion by 24th July 2022.
Phase 2 - A closure is planned from 25th August 2022, with estimated completion by 30th August 2022.
Phase 3 - A closure is planned from 21:00 hours on
30th August 2022, with estimated completion by 05:00 hours on 31st August 2022.

Phase 1 - The A2260 Southfleet Road will be closed on the northbound and southbound lanes of the dual carriageway between the Ackers Drive Roundabout and the Ebbsfleet International Roundabout, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any southbound traffic is via A2260 Ebbsfleet Gateway, A226 Thames Way, A226 Stonebridge Road, A226 Galley Hill Road, A226 London Road, B255 St Clements Way, B255 Bean Road, A296 Watling Street, A2 Merry Chest Slip, A2 Watling Street, and A2 Nursery Slip Eastbound Off.
Phase 2 - The A2260 Southfleet Road will be closed on the Ebbsfleet International Roundabout between the entrance of the northbound and southbound dual carriageway, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any southbound and northbound traffic is via the A2260 Southfleet
Road Southbound carriageway towards the Ackers Drive Roundabout, onto the A2260 Southfleet
Road northbound carriageway up to the Ebbsfleet International Roundabout.
Phase 3 - The A2260 Southfleet Road will be closed on the northbound and southbound lanes of the dual carriageway between the Ackers Drive Roundabout and the Ebbsfleet International Roundabout, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coombfield Drive, Darenth, on or after 3rd August 2022 for up to 5 working days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 17.

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out,
Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily
prohibit parking on part of Hillhouse Road, Dartford, on or after 19th July 2022 for up to 1 day between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours, or until the works have been completed.
