Because of pole replacement works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Canterbury Road, Brabourne, on or after 17th August 2022 for up to 3 days, between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours or until the works have been completed.

Because of works to replace decayed poles, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Church Lane, Shadoxhurst, on or after 2nd August 2022 for up to 3 days, between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours or until the works have been completed.

To allow utility works to be carried out Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Chapel Street, Herne Bay, on or after 3rd August 2022 between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours, or until the works have been completed. The one-way order will be suspended to allow access.

The road will be closed at the junction with Charles Street, for a distance approximately 25 metres in a Southerly direction, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Northbound traffic is via Mortimer Street, East Street and Charles Street.

To allow utility works to be carried out Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Church Lane, Seasalter, on or after 1st August 2022 for up to 2 days between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours, or until the works have been completed.

To allow the Canterbury City Feast market to be held Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Guildhall Street and Sun Yard, Canterbury.

A series of closures are planned from 5th August 2022, with estimated completion by 18th September 2022. The market will be held on the following dates:
