Friends and family of a young mum who took her own life have said they are “completely broken” following her death.

Tragedy struck again for the family at the heart of a crash which killed four people in Headcorn last year.

Just 10 months following the tragedy, the family has been rocked by the death of “beautiful and kind hearted” Pemmalina Lee, known as Pem, who died over the weekend.

The 21-year-old was married to Paddy Cash. Paddy is the son of Johnny, 44, and brother of Johnboy, 19, who both lost their lives in the collision in October.

Miles “Smiler” Cash, 25, and Jacko Cosgrove, 18, from Ashford, also died in the crash.

Pem’s family and friends have paid tribute to the young mum, who was described as having a “precious aura” about her.

Speaking to the Kent Messenger her family, including father Jimbob and mother Murtle, said: “Pemmalina was a young, bubbly and outgoing girl full of life.

“She was the light of her two sisters’ lives, Shannon and Avangeline, and her brother Rico’s world. She loved and adored her baby and thought he was solid gold. Pemmalina and her husband were madly and deeply in love.

“They loved going on holiday and spending time with her baby and she was the best friend anyone could ask for.

“She was always a phone call away and there was nothing too big or small for her to do for you.

“Pemmalina was so beautiful in every way and so kind hearted. Everyone that knows her is completely broken. Life will never, ever be the same without her. She had an aura

that was so precious and her smile and eyes would make you feel safe. She is a friend that will never be replaced.”

Previously living in Surrey, Pemmalina married her husband Paddy after eloping to Gretna Green at the age of 16 and moved to Kent.

Her friend Kathleen Connors said: “Oh my big, beautiful girl; I wish I was at home. I wish I could talk to you. [For] 12 years you’ve told me everything. Why did you leave us? I’ll never get

over you. I’ve never felt pain like this.

“To precious Pem, I love you so much. I’ve lost people but you were my sister, you knew every single thing.

“You were the only one that was that close. I love you.”

Bantamweight boxing champion Dennis McCann – also from Headcorn, and best friends with Paddy’s brother Johnboy – posted a picture to his 186,000 followers, adding: “RIP Pemmalina. People need to speak out.”
