Because of highway improvement works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on A28 Simone Weil Avenue, Ashford, on or after 30th August 2022 for up to 3 nights, between 22:00 hours and 05:00 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for the entire length.
Only one direction will be closed at a time and access to Warren Retail Park will be maintained for as long as possible.

BEAVER ROAD & LOWER DENMARK ROAD, ASHFORD. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPEND ONE-WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of works to replace a manhole cover and frame in the carriageway, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Beaver Road, Ashford, on or after 1st September 2022 for up to 1 night, between 19:00 hours and 05:00 hours or until the works have been completed. The one-way order will be suspended at Lower Denmark Road to allow access.
The road will be closed at the junction with Lower Denmark Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Beaver Road, A2042 Victoria Road/Avenue Jacques Faucheux/Romney Marsh Road, B2229 Norman Road and vice versa.
The alternative route for traffic unable to exit Lower Denmark Road on to Beaver Road is via Lower Denmark Road, Torrington Road, Providence Street, Whitfield
Road, Beaver Road and vice versa.
The rising bollard restrictions will be suspended on Beaver Road, between South Stour Avenue and Lower Denmark Road, to allow all vehicular access during the closure.
CANTERBURY ROAD, BRABOURNE. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of pole replacement works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Canterbury Road, Brabourne, on or after 17th August 2022 for up to 3 days, between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours or until the works have been completed. The road will be closed in the vicinity of The Croft, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Canterbury Road, Manor Pound Lane, Lees Road, Bridge Road, Plain Road and
vice versa.
KINGSLAND LANE, WESTWELL. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of pole replacement works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Kingsland Lane, Westwell, on or after 19th August 2022 for up to 1 day, between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours or until the works have been completed. The road will be closed approximately 27 metres north of Kingsland Grove, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Because of pole replacement works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Upper Queens Road, Ashford, on or after 19th August 2022 for up to 1 day, between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours or until the works have been completed. The one-way order will be suspended between A28 Magazine Road and Wall Road, to allow access.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of number 8, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

WATERY LANE, WESTWELL. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of pole replacement works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Watery Lane, Westwell, on or after 19th August 2022 for up to 1 day, between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours or until the works have been completed. The road will be closed approximately 100 metres west of Nash Court, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

CANTERBURY HALF MARATHON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER AUGUST 2022
To allow the Canterbury Half Marathon to take place Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on various roads in Canterbury.
The following roads will be closed on the 29th August 2022 for up to 1 day, between the hours of 09:30 - 10:15 & 11:15 - 13:00, as listed below:
• Merton Lane, Lower Hardres, will be closed for the
entire length.
• Iffin Lane, Thangington Without, will be closed at its junction with Hollow Lane and New House
Lane.
The following roads will be closed between the hours of
10:00 and 12:30, as listed below:
• New House Lane, Thanington Without, will be closed for the entire length.
• Swarling Hill Road, Petham, will be closed for the
entire length.
• Watery Lane, Petham, will be closed for the entire
length.
• Town Road, Petham, will be closed between the
junctions of Watery Lane and The Street.
• The Street, Petham, will be closed at its junction
with Town Road and Vicarage Hill.
