Keeper Jordan Carey came up with a stoppage-time equaliser for Division 1 playoff occupants Larkfield & New Hythe at Forest Hill Park. Trailing to a first-half goal, exDartford, Ashford and Sittingbou­rne man Carey converted in the 98th minute to salvage a 1-1 draw last Wednesday. Matt Day then scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Tooting Bec on Saturday.

David Latunde bagged a hattrick in promotion-chasing Staplehurs­t’s 4-2 win at home to Meridian last weekend. Harley Gorse also scored.

That came after Latunde and Gorse struck after the restart in Staplehurs­t’s 4-1 win over K Sports last Wednesday. Others on the scoresheet for the hosts were Ted Rosetti and young Chatham loanee Harry Beech, David Ajao having given the visitors a firsthalf lead.

Larkfield host Canterbury on Saturday and visit Croydon on Wednesday. Staplehurs­t host Lewisham this weekend while K Sports are visiting Rochester.
