Bethany Smith: “Ashford Borough Council are the most useless lot I have ever known!”

Sammy Fairman: “They are awful at getting through to! Then, when you do, you end up going round in circles!”

Sarah Jane Rose: “One thing after another - total waste of time. Emailed them Wednesday, called today and still no reply!”

Rachel Barton: “They shut too early - what happened to working until 5pm and Saturdays for the people who actually bother to have a job and work during the week?”

David-James Selling: “Their phone system is terrible. You sit there forever and in the end you’re put through to someone completely different.”

Kelly Lord: “It is ridiculous! I was on the phone for 58 minutes yesterday and got cut off three times! It takes too long to speak to an advisor.”

Alison Jones: “Have to admit yesterday was a nightmare. I gave up. I did request a call back that I didn’t get and the office closed at 4pm. This morning, I got through straight away.”

Kelly Hill: “They’re even worse when you leave your name and number for a call back - no-one ever calls back!”

Clare Jones: “With all the different options to choose and when you actually think you’re going to speak to a person and then you don’t, it is rather annoying. Communicat­ion is the key to everything!”

Sarah Kurkowski: “It’s an absolute nightmare! Just goes round and round and its very difficult to talk to someone - if at all.”

Michelle Gardner: “It took me 20 minutes after being bounced from pillar to post to speak to a human and to not have to listen to recorded messages yesterday, but when I did they were very helpful.”

Wayne Robinson: “I found their website very confusing, but once you get the right area, contacting them via email is a very efficient way of getting through. Last time I had an issue I had a reply within a few hours and a direct dial line from a very nice bloke called Mike.”
