All set for a pearl of a pantomime

-

This year’s Pluckley village panto is The Princess and the Pearl, a locally based story set in the 1950s.

It is the village’s 29th panto production.

The cast and production team are putting the finishing touches to the show which is being staged at Pluckley Village Hall on Friday and Saturday, January 24 and 25 at 7.30pm, with an extra matinee performance on the Saturday at 3pm.

Tickets are available from Pluckley Butchers or by calling 01233 840280.

It’s been a sad year for the group with the loss of long-standing member Mike Cowdry, who passed away in the spring of 2013. He had been in the group for 27 years and was well known for his performances in the annual panto as both dame and villain.
