Bellman at the double
Ashford Sunday Lge
Adam Bellman scored twice as Prince Albert beat bottom club Stour Valley 4-2 on the 3G pitch at North School on Sunday. The game, the only one played in the Ashford and District League at the weekend, was switched to the artificial surface, with all other matches called off due to waterlogged pitches. The win moves Albert level on points with leaders Charing Reserves, although Albert have played two games more. Bellman’s double and and another from Tom Brown put Albert 3-0 up at half-time, before Stour pulled one back with a deflected effort by Nick Hickmott. Adam Aldridge added Albert’s fourth before Adam Rasmussen hit Valley’s second from a penalty.
