‘Hard to imagine being as happy living anywhere else’

-

Where is your one favourite place in the town? I’m sorry because it is not in the town centre but it has to be the Outlet Centre with its variety of shops and cafes. What would you say to a visitor to encourage them to come to Ashford? Convenient to so much .... London, France and Belgium and of course our lovely city of Canterbury with its wonderful Cathedral. There is so much in the area for families to do and see. What are your favourite shops, bars and restaurants in Ashford? I love Sainsbury’s. With its wide open entrance and aisles, it feels uncluttered and a pleasure to shop in. It also has an excellent restaurant. If I have time I enjoy wandering the Outlet Centre. What is the best thing about living in Ashford? The people. What makes Ashford stand out from other towns? My mum and I have had to use the William Harvey Hospital a number of times this year. We hear all too readily of all the bad experiences. All I can say is, we have had excellent care from the committed and hardworking staff. What has changed about Ashford most over the years? Its growth in population and business opportunities What needs improving in town? Whilst a lot has been done, the I actually live in Kingsnorth and am proud to be part of that growing community but am also proud to be part of Ashford.
