Waste firm’s £1m relocation

A waste-management company has bought an Ashford warehouse for £1.2m.

Family-owned MTS Cleansing Services has decided to move to larger premises as their business grows, and chose the site in Wyvern Way on the Henwood Industrial Estate because of its easy access to the M20 and town centre.

The 27,000 square-foot unit has a steel portal frame and two steel roller shutter doors opening on to a secure concrete yard and loading area.

It is on a 1.28 acre site, has more than 40 car parking spaces, and has planning for both B1 light industrial and B8 warehouse uses.

While the company’s head office will remain in Strood on the Medway City Estate, the company now has three sites in Kent, including another depot at Pluckley.
