What is the best thing about the town? The Designer Outlet centre because the shops there are better than in the town centre. What would you say to a visitor to encourage them to come to Ashford? I would tell them to check out the Designer Outlet. What are your favourite shops, bars and restaurants in Ashford? I like Peacocks because it has some good products. The Albion pub in South Willesborough is also nice. What is the best tourist attraction in the town? I feel that the Designer Outlet is the only tourist attraction in Ashford. Where is your one favourite place in Ashford? County Square - it’s comfy and I spend hours in there. What makes Ashford stand out from other towns? The train station as it has so many connections like the High Speed and the Eurostar. What has changed about Ashford most over the years? There used to be loads of good shops but now they’re either shut or over priced. What needs improving in the town? We desperately need a Primark. That would make Ashford do much better and encourage people to come here. Could you see yourself living in Ashford for the rest of your life? No, I’d rather live in the countryside away from the pollution. Do you feel proud to live in Ashford? No, I honestly think Ashford is an embarrassment.
