Collins hits double for five-star Hotel

Market Hotel are the early leaders in the Premier Division after beating Bromley Green 5-2 to make it two wins from two games.

Matt Collins scored twice for Market with their other goals coming from Jordan Tomsett, Steve Ward and Steve Harris against his former club.

Ryan Prior and Shqipron Ahmetaj scored the Green goals.

New Hamstreet manager Shay McGuinness picked up his first win as they beat new boys Iden Park 4-2 at The Park. Hamstreet raced into a 3-0 lead inside the opening 20 minutes, thanks to goals from Joe Spicer, Dan Woodcock and Aaron McGuinness while Dale Davis added a fourth in the second-half.

Iden improved after the break and pulled two goals back through Sam Ricketts and Jay Crisford. Goals from Ewan Stanley and Stuart Taylor gave Mersham Sports a 2- 0 win at neighbours Aldington in a match which saw former Ashford Town goalkeeper Mo Munden keep a clean sheet on his Sports debut. In Division 1, AFC Locomotive maintained their winning start as goals from Joshua Jones and Luke Walder saw them beat Stanhope Rangers 2-0 at Pitchside. Troggs also won again, beating Kennington 3-2, thanks to goals by Michael Harvey, Brad Burton and Ben Allen. Tom Williams and Karl Gladwin scored for Kennington.

Tom Wilmshurst scored four for Albion as they bounced back from their opening day defeat to beat Egerton 10-1.

The other Albion goals came from Matt Coglan (3), Paul Martin, Gary Martin and Jason Owen.

Willesboro­ugh AFC beat Marsh Athletic Reserves 3-2 in Division 2, but were made to work hard by the visitors.

Two goals from Sam Lancaster had put Marsh 2-0 ahead but Willesboro­ugh battled back to claim the points, thanks to Jack Bundock (2) and Matt Boulding.

Prince Albert held on to beat Grasshoppe­rs 6-4 to pick up their first points.

Albert raced into a 5-0 half-time lead thanks to a hat-trick from Adam Bellman, a Mike Ward goal and a stunning effort from playermana­ger Gary Boorman but Grasshoppe­rs hit back after the break with goals from Ryan Easter, Paul Paddock and former Levin Athletic pair Frankie Steer and Tom Morgan.
