Sanctuary seeking homes for stray dogs
Stray dogs found in the Ashford area are looking for new loving homes.
The Lord Whisky Sanctuary in Stelling Minnis, Ashford Borough Council’s (ABC) nominated kennel, gives a temporary home to stray dogs collected by the dog warden service.
But if the pet is not claimed within seven full days from the time it is kennelled, he or she is made available for re-homing.
Colin Leek, canine and neighbourhood officer, said: “We have a number of dogs who would make a great addition to any fam- ily and it would make a happy ending to their personal stories to see them become part of a loving home.”
Jake, Sasha and Scooby-Doo are just three of the sanctuary’s strays looking for new owners.
To find out more or to arrange a viewing of any dogs call the Lord Whisky Sanctuary on 01303 862622.
ABCs dog warden service all offers advice on responsible dog ownership and micro-chipping.
