Beautiful help for brain injury appeal

-

Leigh Sinden, The Face of England, has raised £1,100 for Headway, the brain injury charity

The 20-year-old beauty therapist, who works full time at Eastwell Manor Hotel, in Boughton Lees raised the money by doing beauty treatments, a boot fair, a quiz night and a football match with a raffle.

Meanwhile, Miss Sinden, who lives on the Romney Marsh, has also been the recipient of a donation herself... from her boss.

She was presented with a cheque by Eastwell Manor’s owner, Turrloo Parrett, as the hotel sponsored her to compete in Face of Europe and the World – a beauty pageant held at Disneyland Paris.

The pageant, which took place on Friday October, 31, saw the competitors spend two days enjoying the park and the competition was also held there.

The final result saw Leigh placed third out of 23 competitors meaning she is now not only the Face of England but also the Face of the UK.
