Toy shop dash means extra fun for needy

-

A toy shop which has recently opened in County Square, Ashford, has donated £659.48 worth of toys to a Kent children’s charity.

Brother and sister, Kyle, 12 and Kara, 10, from Kingsnorth, who are supported by the Young Lives Foundation (YLF) were invited to The Entertainer toy shop to take part in a two-minute trolley dash as the store opened on Saturday, October 25.

The pair filled their trolleys with as many toys from the shelves as they could and managed to secure several trolleys full of toys, which The Entertainer are donating to the charity.

YLF, which aims to help the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable young people and children, will distribute the toys to other disadvantaged children around Kent and Medway, as well as Kara and Kyle who kept their own favourite toy of thiose they grabbed during the trolley dash.
