Stu­dents celebrate learn­ing English with world of food

Suc­cess­ful grad­u­ates from an English lan­guage course were proud to re­ceive their cer­tifi­cates.

The English for Speak­ers of Other Lan­guages (ESOL) course, was un­der­taken by par­ents of East Stour Pri­mary School pupils, as well as mem­bers of the com­mu­nity.

Mar­garet Stew­ard, head teacher, at the Earlsworth Road school and Rob Cook, the chair­man of gover­nors, pre­sented the cer­tifi­cates, with the cer­e­mony fol­lowed by a feast of cui­sine from around the world made by the grad­u­ates.

Siob­han Park a teacher of English as an ad­di­tional lan­guage at East Stour, said she was de­lighted with the suc­cess of the stu­dents.
