Drink-drive teen is banned

A teenager has been banned from div­ing and given a cur­few af­ter plead­ing guilty to drink driv­ing.

Sian Arnold, 19, of Grav­elly Field, Ash­ford, gave a breath test of 74 mi­cro­grammes of al­co­hol in 100 millil­itres of breath. The le­gal limit is 35 mi­cro­grammes.

She ap­peared at Folke­stone Mag­is­trates’ Court on Au­gust 17 where she was banned from driv­ing for 20 months and given her a four-month cur­few to re­main at home be­tween 10pm and 7am daily.

She must also pay a £150 crim­i­nal courts charge, £85 costs and a £60 vic­tim sur­charge.
