Applause for music school

A music school and instrument supplier has been listed among the 100 businesses to be celebrated by the campaign Small Business Saturday.

The UK’s dedicated day for small businesses takes place on December 5 and the Right Track Music School, based at Henwood, Ashford, is among the businesses featuring.

The company, which opened a small shop in the town in 2009, teaches around 500 students per week. It has two members of staff and 16 selfemployed teachers.

Su Bailey, from Right Track Music School, said: “We offer specialist advice and service. The customer may have to pay a little more but overall they will save money by buying an instrument that is fit for purpose, will not require upgrading and will be well maintained.”

Last year 16.5 million adults went out to support a small business on the designated Saturday.
