United’s Bosio set to face Ireland in Euro qualifier
Ashford midfielder Jamie Bosio is in line to win his third international cap for Gibraltar tomorrow (Friday). He could feature when they host the Republic of Ireland in a Euro 2016 qualifier. That’s followed by Poland away on Monday. Nuts & Bolts boss Danny Lye will be keeping an eye on Bosio (pictured), who’s set to link up with Ashford next week. Lye said: “It’s quite something for Ashford to have an international player. “He’ll be with us from September 11 and I’m looking forward to working with him. I’ve not actually met him yet. “I wish him all the best against Ireland and I’ll try to watch the game. “He played against Germany when Gibraltar lost 7-0 and marked Mesut Özil. It might be a bit of a shock for him when he comes to our league!”
