Making the most of your lunchtime

-

A team of chefs has hit the road hoping to encourage everyone to make the most of lunchtime in our busy lives.

The Livening Up Lunch roadshow started its nation-wide tour at Sainsbury’s Bybrook on Thursday with chef Andy Dadge and assistant Clara Mayer on hand to greet shoppers.

They were exhibiting recipes from brands such as Heinz, Walls, Lavazza coffee, FRijj and Kingsmill to shoppers such as Jane and Charlie Perham and Linda Spackman.

Roadshow spokesman Jono White said: “It seems as a society that we don’t have time for a proper lunch, that lunch has been sacrificed.

“So our aim is to show you can have a decent lunch even if you are rushing about at work, with the kids, or on the go.” To find out more information or for lunchtime ideas visit www. itslunchtime.co.uk
