Don’t miss out on last few places for anniversary quiz
There are just three weeks to go for teams to swot up for the bumper 10th anniversary KM Big Charity Quiz.
And a handful of tables are still available for teams of up to eight to take part in the highlight of the quiz calendar at The Stour Centre, Ashford on Friday, October 16.
Organisers hope the special event will raise a record amount of cash for Guide Dogs for the Blind, this paper’s charity of the year, along with Kent Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre and road safety services for children.
Barclays bank will match the charity pot to double funds raised from raffle tickets and the charity bar supplied by Shepherd Neame. Other businesses supporting the event include HR GO, Hallett and Co, Specsavers and Hornby Visitor Centre.
Entry price includes a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink, ploughman’s meal and entry into a P&O Ferries prize draw for every quiz-goer.
Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team, which is organising the event, said: “The Big Quiz is always a top night out for fun, banter and prizes, but you really don’t want to miss this event.”
General knowledge buffs are also being urged to submit their own brainteasers.
Kentish Express readers can put forward questions for the Readers’ Round of the quiz. The best suggestions will be used at a future Big Quiz and may even win a prize.
