Appeal for witnesses

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to the collision to help them with their inquiries.

Officers were alerted to the incident at 11.48am last Thursday after receiving reports of a collision involving a car and pedestrian.

Now they would like to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened or been in the area at the time.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Inquiries are ongoing and no one has been arrested.”
