Drivers warned of loose horses

Drivers were warned to be careful on Monday morning after reports of three horses running loose in Ashford.

The animals were seen on Fourgeres Way heading towards the M20, near the John Lewis at home store, about 6.30am.

Police said the horses had got loose and officers managed to get them back into a nearby field.

The road was cleared shortly after and police made inquiries to establish who the owners were.
