Family desperate for return of missing cat

-

A desperate family are appealing for help to find their 12-yearold cat Smudge who has been missing now for a fortnight.

Vanessa Franklin, of Hunter Close in Willesborough, said the pet had become a trusted friend of the family, particularly for her autistic son Connor, 15.

The worried family have handed out leaflets and posters around Willesborough and South Willesborough, and have put a poster in the window of their car.

Vanessa, 41, a care support worker, said: “We are all really worried and anxious, especially Connor, because having Smudge has been a consistent thing in his life.

“He is really quite sad about it and looks out of the window every morning to see if Smudge is sitting on the grass.”
