Celebrating creative hard work and achievement

Budding artists displayed their creativity at an art exhibition featuring written, visual, sculpture, animation, performance, recital, video and sound clip creations.

Year 9 pupils from The North School in Essella Road, Ashford had created their pieces throughout the term and invited parents to attend their exhibition on Thursday, February 11.

At a special assembly the next day, Ashford MP Damian Green presented awards to the 16 winners: Stephanie Redfearn, Ben- jamin Clare, Yetunde Mongo, Ayden Terry, Nathan Bispham, Alessia Ciovirta, Yasmin Russell, Jackson Hurst, Cameron Bruce, Eleanor Mitchell, Aimee Frampton, China Gurung, Hadiqah Hussein, Megan Gaillard, Connor Ross and Harry Craig.

Mr Green said: “It was a real pleasure to celebrate the hard work and achievement of year 9 students at the North School. They deserve real encouragement for the progress they are making.”
