North School Lions recorded their first international success by beating St Johns Belgium 43-38 in the American School London Exhibition Tournament. The victory avenged the defeat in the Cobham Tournament last year, with Harvey Kemp-Green named Most Valuable Player after scoring 10 points – five rebounds and five assists. North lost their second match 70-55 against the hosts, who were crowned champions on goal difference despite losing their final match against St Johns. Coach Andrew Sunderland said: “We were disappointed not to come away with two victories but I was delighted with the whole day overall.”
