North School Lions recorded their first in­ter­na­tional suc­cess by beat­ing St Johns Bel­gium 43-38 in the Amer­i­can School Lon­don Ex­hi­bi­tion Tour­na­ment. The vic­tory avenged the de­feat in the Cob­ham Tour­na­ment last year, with Har­vey Kemp-Green named Most Valu­able Player af­ter scor­ing 10 points – five re­bounds and five as­sists. North lost their se­cond match 70-55 against the hosts, who were crowned cham­pi­ons on goal dif­fer­ence de­spite los­ing their fi­nal match against St Johns. Coach An­drew Sun­der­land said: “We were dis­ap­pointed not to come away with two vic­to­ries but I was de­lighted with the whole day over­all.”
