Mersham Sports marched into the semi-finals, beating Brewmaster 5-1 at the Towers School 3G on Sunday morning.

The villagers set up a last-four date with Hamstreet and a possible cup final against either AFC Locomotive or Ashford Dynamo in March.

Robbie Clark and Ewan Stanley both scored twice for Mersham, with Peter Shields adding a fifth as Sports dominated the 2014 Premier Division champions, playing their first game for three months.

Rhys Morrison grabbed a consolation for the Brews from the penalty spot – his third goal of the season – and will have learned many lessons ahead of next week’s crucial league fixture at Troggs.
