Car ends up in a ditch

Fire crews were called to Bell Road in Smarden on Sunday after a car veered off the road and ended up in a ditch. The wheels of the vehicle were left in six inches of water. Firefighters say the occupant was out of the car when they arrived and that the car had skidded on mud.
