School hall reveals secrets of the universe
Children got the chance to explore their solar system and the universe last week, all from the comfort of their school hall.
The pupils at Kennington Junior School in Upper Vicarage Road were visited by boffins from the University of Kent who brought them the mobile astrodome.
It allowed the children to follow in the footsteps of British astronaut Tim Peake and see the stars and planets projected on the inside of the inflatable equipment.
Year 5 and Year 6 children enjoyed the cinematic experience as part of their lessons about space.
