Cyclists are invited to saddle up for this year’s KM Big Bike Ride, which is being backed for a fourth consecutive year by Windfarm operator Vattenfall.

Melanie Rogers, of Vattenfall, said: “If you are looking for a psychical challenge, then this is the perfect event for you.”

The event is at Betteshanger Country Park, near Deal, on Sunday, April 24.

Riders can choose either a 100K coastal route or a 50K countryside one, and will receive a souvenir medal and goody bag upon completion.
