Celebration of outstanding successes

In 2003 the first Ward Children’s Awards were launched – now the event to salute the brave and inspirational across the county is bigger than ever

-

This year’s Ward Children’s Awards promises to end like every one of the 13 that have gone before – with a great big celebration to announce the winners and cheer their outstanding successes.

Once the nomination and judging process is complete later this year, the finalists and their families will be invited to a special event taking place on Friday, October 14.

Held at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel, the celebration lunch is geared solely to ensuring the winners and their families are made to feel truly special and come away having had a brilliant time.

Alongside the lunch and presentation of awards by Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins, there will be fun and games to entertain everyone!

Our photographer will also be on hand to capture all of the magical moments, which are sure to provide some lovely lasting memories for those involved.

The event is a really uplifting and enjoyable occasion for the award winners and their families and often provides a welcome break from the many hospital appointments and treatment Marley the magician with Tanisha Jones at last year’s awards commitments they have to manage on a regular basis. How can I nominate someone? The process to nominate is really simple – if you have a friend, family member, neighbour, patient or client who you feel deserves an award you can fill in the form on this page to nominate them.

There are seven categories open for nominations this year.

You can enter using the form or alternatively nominate via our website www.kentonline. co.uk/lifestyle/competitions/ ward-awards/
